This Privacy Policy explains how TradeMind: Quant Math Prep ("we," "our," or "us") handles your information when you use the public website and browser practice tools at trademindapp.com, or our iOS and macOS app without a TradeMind account.
Using a TradeMind account or the web app? Account details, account-based practice history, cloud services and web billing are covered by the TradeMind account and web service Privacy Policy. The local-only descriptions below do not apply to data you save through those account services.
1. Website scope (trademindapp.com)
This section describes the public website as implemented on September 22, 2026. It does not make claims about infrastructure settings that are not visible from the site code or the deployed Cloudflare account.
- Browser practice: the public simulators run in your browser. They do not ask you to create a website account, and the website code does not post your answers or results to a TradeMind application server.
- Cloudflare delivery and analytics: the site is delivered through Cloudflare and includes Cloudflare Web Analytics' beacon script. Cloudflare describes that product as cookie-free. Its handling of request, analytics, and edge data is governed by Cloudflare's own terms and configuration; this policy does not state a retention period that we cannot verify from this repository.
- Prices and app links: the pricing page requests the public web-plan catalog through this website. That catalog request does not forward your cookies or sign-in credentials to the web app. Links may carry a selected plan or practice destination; they do not import your website scores into an account.
- Email links: the Contact and Partners forms build a
mailto:draft in your email app. Nothing is sent until you send it from that app, and the form does not first submit its fields to the TradeMind website.
2. Native App Use Without a TradeMind Account
The iOS and macOS app supports practice without creating a TradeMind account. Creating an optional account or signing in brings the account services under the separate policy linked above.
- No account required for local practice: We do not require you to create an account, register, or provide your name, phone number, physical address, or personal email address to use the app's no-account practice features.
- No Tracking or Advertising: We do not track you across third-party apps or websites, nor do we sell, rent, or trade your data to advertisers or data brokers. We do not integrate third-party advertising SDKs.
3. Local & iCloud Data Storage
In no-account mode, the native app stores test results, custom difficulty settings, and practice histories locally, with optional Apple iCloud syncing. This is separate from TradeMind account storage.
- Local Device Storage: In no-account mode, cognitive game scores, high-speed mental math results, and custom settings are stored locally on your device.
- Apple iCloud Syncing: If you have enabled iCloud on your Apple devices, your practice progress may be synced across your iOS and macOS devices using Apple's native CloudKit/iCloud infrastructure. This data is encrypted by Apple and stored within your private iCloud account. We do not have direct access to your private iCloud storage. Practice data saved through TradeMind account services is governed by the account policy linked above.
4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
TradeMind offers auto-renewable subscriptions and one-time purchases (e.g., TradeMind Pro) that give access to advanced practice modules and assessment banks.
- Apple StoreKit Processing: Purchases made through the App Store, including their billing and refunds, are handled by Apple. Web purchases are processed separately through Paddle; see the account and web service policy for that channel.
- Payment Privacy: We never receive, process, or store your credit card numbers, billing addresses, or Apple ID credentials for an App Store purchase. Apple purchase and entitlement records are used to validate Pro access. If you link an App Store purchase to a TradeMind account, its entitlement is associated with that account; it is not an anonymous receipt.
5. Third-Party References and Legal Disclaimer
TradeMind is an independent interview preparation tool that simulates high-speed mental math and sequence assessments.
- Non-Affiliation: This app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with Optiver, Akuna Capital, Flow Traders, Citadel, Two Sigma, Jane Street, or any other financial institutions or quantitative trading firms mentioned within the practice modules.
- Trademarks: All company names, firm names, trademarks, and logos belong to their respective owners and are used strictly for descriptive and reference purposes only.
6. Children's Privacy
Our application is intended for university students and professionals preparing for quantitative finance and engineering interviews. We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your relevant jurisdiction).
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our app's functionality or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the application after any changes signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
